The importance of this electronic system for the successful realization of the screening program that will be conducted in 2021-2023 is essential, ensuring storage and the interpretation of collected data.
The need for a screening program linked with appropriate immediate treatment is the key piece highlighted in the World Health Organization’s recommendation on the plan for the eradication of viral hepatitis by 2030. Thanks to this electronic register, the population screening process will be considerably improved ant it will be possible to better use and interpret the data obtained so as to optimize future screening programs. The electronic system will be used by General Practitioners who will enter population screening program for chronic hepatitis B / C / D virus infections with the platform developed by public health specialists and constantly monitored so that it can be easily used and optimized according to the needs and feedback found when loading and centralizing data from screening. Electronic Screening Record System – S.E.E.S. will have 3 categories of users: GPs, hospital physicians and laboratory specialists.
The electronic register is in the last stage of development, and when the testing will start GPs will have full use of it. It is extremely to get feedback from GPs so that the app is easy to use and we can correct any programming errors or shortcomings.
